Simply Vintage...

I could say that I'm not sure why I'm so entirely drawn to anything vintage, but I know exactly why.  I grew up in a HUGE house full of all kinds of wonderfully vintage everythings....furniture, prints, frames, jewelry, place settings, silverware, linens...seriously-you name it we had it, and it was all simply vintage.  There's just such an elegance and charm to so much of it, I honestly could go a little crazy--and if you've seen some of the things in my house, you'd probably better understand.  I L.O.V.E. it!!  Simple. Elegant. Vintage.
So--along those lines, I just can't help but to have been drawn to this blog (forgot to mention that I also have a slight obsession with Italian anything-and have seriously considered changing my photography business along with my blog to some thing Italian, but have realized that in the area that I'm living I'd really doubt that anyone could pronounce it correctly :) ).  Meet Therese Long...who keeps not one blog, but two...Il Tuo Tesoro and La Dolfina (seriously find it hard to keep up with one, along with all the reading of other blogs that I do, let alone 2).  I can not get enough!!!  I was drawn to her blogs initially because of their names, and once I was in...I'm sorry people that was all she wrote.  I noticed right away the scripture posted on Il Tuo Tesoro--Proverbs 24:3-4--just love how she related her love of treasures with Scripture! As if all of that wasn't overwhelming enough she then introduced me to Sarah (along with a few other blogs--thanks, Terri!) and her etsy shop the charm school dropout.  I WILL be purchasing as of right now, 3 of her collages.  UGH!!! Please don't tell my husband that I'll be putting up MORE frames on my walls!  :)
Anyway, you'll understand the "simply vintage" title when you check out these blogs and shops!  Here are the ones that inspired me...simply vintage!
